at 7827 Thornton Rd. No appointment is needed. Notary fees are $15 per signature, per document. Notary services are available Mon-Sat. 9am-5pm.

📝 General Notary Questions

What is a notary public?
A notary public is a state-appointed official who serves as an impartial witness during the signing of important documents. Notaries help verify identity and reduce the risk of fraud.

What types of documents can you notarize?
I notarize a wide range of documents, including affidavits, power of attorney, parental consent forms, vehicle releases, loan documents, and more.

Where are notary services provided?
All notary services are offered on-site inside Global Auto Parts during regular notary hours. I do not offer mobile or off-site notary services.

Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not required — walk-ins are welcome during notary hours:
Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

How much does notarization cost?
In California, the standard notary fee is $15 per signature, per document.

What should I bring to my notary appointment?
Please bring:

  • The completed but unsigned document

  • A valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID)

What forms of ID are acceptable in California?
Acceptable forms of identification include a valid (unexpired):

  • California driver’s license or ID card

  • U.S. passport or passport card

  • Other state-issued driver's license or ID

  • U.S. military ID

Can you notarize documents for someone who isn’t present?
No. All signers must appear in person, present valid ID, and sign in front of the notary.

What if I don’t have valid ID?
In certain cases, credible witnesses may be used if they know you personally and meet California's identification requirements. Please call ahead to confirm this option.

Can you notarize loan documents?
Yes. While I’m not a certified loan signing agent, I can notarize individual loan-related documents at the store during regular notary hours.

Do you offer remote online notarization?
No. Remote notarization is not currently permitted in California. All notarizations must be completed in person.

Can you help me draft or explain my document?
No. I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, interpret documents, or prepare legal forms.
